Burpees are a full-body exercise that is often used in fitness and endurance training. They combine several movements into a flowing sequence and require strength, endurance and coordination. Burpees are a more intense exercise that ramp up the cardiovascular system. They should be performed at the end of the warm-up session.

Stand with your feet shoulder-width apart.

Get into a deep squat position and place your hands on the floor to the side of your feet.

Jump backwards with your feet so that you are in the upper push-up position and then jump back forwards with your feet.

You are back in the deep squat position and your hands are on the floor. Now do a stretch jump upwards from this position and then land back on your feet.

Perform the exercise until you have reached the specified time.
Tip
Perform the exercise at a moderate pace. Ensure that you breathe evenly throughout the exercise.
