Description

Rope swings are a good exercise to warm you up for your workout. It works your arms and shoulders and gets your cardiovascular system pumping. Rope swings require a certain amount of basic strength and are quite strenuous. As a warm-up, this exercise should therefore be used by advanced athletes who want to warm up their arms and shoulders in particular.

    Stand shoulder-width apart in front of the ropes.

    Grab one end of the rope with each hand and squat down

    Swing the ropes offset with your arms.

    Carry out the exercise until you have reached the specified time.
Tip
Squat down and bend your upper body slightly forward. Keep your back straight. Perform the exercise at a moderate pace. You can work in intervals. This means, for example, swinging for 45 seconds and resting for 15 seconds. Make sure you breathe evenly throughout the exercise.
