The pseudo planche push up is an exercise that primarily trains the front shoulder. The exercise is a good pre-exercise for the planche.

Tutorial

  1. 1
    Start from a normal push-up position and lean forward as far as you can.
  2. 2
    Now do a push-up in the leaning forward position and stay in front.
Tip
Try to lean forward as far as possible during the exercise. You can turn your hands slightly outwards. Make sure you stay in front for the entire duration of the exercise and do not move backwards.
