Crab Walk Background

Description

Animal Movements are part of a bodyweight training concept inspired by animal movements. The Crab Walk trains the shoulder girdle, triceps and torso. It also stabilizes the spine.

Tutorial

  1. 1
    Get into an inverted quadruped position (bottom facing the floor and stomach facing the ceiling) and shift your weight evenly onto your hands and feet. Point your fingertips backwards. Keep your bottom slightly above the floor.
  2. 2
    Move forward by bringing your hands and feet forward in opposite directions (e.g. left hand and right leg).
  3. 3
    Perform the exercise until you have reached the specified time.
Tip
Do not perform the exercise too quickly and make sure you are breathing evenly.
