Toe Touches Background

Description

Toe touches is an exercise in which you mainly train your upper and lateral abdominal muscles. The name comes from the fact that you alternate touching the tips of your toes with your fingertips.

Tutorial

  1. 1
    Lie on your back on the floor and lift your legs vertically upwards so that they are at right angles to the floor.

    Tighten your abdominal muscles and lift your head away from the floor. This is your starting position.
  3. 3
    Lift your upper body off the floor and touch the tips of your right toes with your left fingertips. Return to the starting position and then touch the tips of your left toes with your right fingertips.

    One repetition has now been completed. Repeat this process for the specified number of repetitions.
Tip
Keep your lower back in contact with the floor throughout the exercise. Do not rest your head on the floor. Your abdominal muscles are tensed throughout the exercise.
